For many, today is the day for year-long resolutions. That's a little too much committment for me, so I'm glad that along with kicking off 2007, today also begins the First Annual AbsoluteWrite Playwrighting Workshop over in the Playwriting Section of the AW Discussion Forum. The idea is that everyone sets their own playwriting goal to achieve over the next sixty days, then we all encourage and cajole each other to get there. The ending of it will nicely coincide with the next Submission Spree on The Playwright's Forum, so there'll even be ideas floating around for what to do with the masterpieces when they're finished.
Anyway, all are welcome to join at anytime during the two months, so if you're reading this and you've ever thought of writing a play... why not now?
